Can I Cook More Than One Food at a Time in My Air Fryer?
Yes! That’s one of my favorite ways to cook in my air fryer. This especially works well when cooking in a larger air fryer or for one person.
I love to use my Cosori 5.8QT Air Fryer since it works great for sticking in bacon and hash brown patties at the same time and cook!
To cook multiple things at a time, follow these steps:
- Look at the time and temperature for each recipe you’re making
- Preheat your air fryer to the temperature of the food that cooks longer
- Cook the first food for the time difference needed
- Change the air fryer temperature to the lower of the two temperatures
- Add in the second food and cook for the time needed, occasionally checking the food as it cooks
- Cook foods until done.
NOTE: Since hard-boiled eggs cannot be “checked,” please only cook these on their own.

2. Easy Air Fryer French Toast Sticks
French toast sticks in the air fryer? That's what we call a sweet breakfast. With the right balance of protein, fat and carbohydrates, these tasty toast bites will surely satiate and fuel your body.
"Cinnamon is a powerful spice with anti-inflammatory properties that can also improve blood sugar levels," Stewart says. That's especially important since steady, balanced blood sugar levels are critical for managing weight.
To make these scrumptious sticks a touch healthier, Stewart suggests swapping out the white Texas bread for a 100-percent whole-grain kind that has at least 3 grams of fiber per serving. "Eating adequate fiber will keep you feeling fuller longer and support weight-loss goals," she says.
And if you're sensitive to sugar substitutes, nix the monk fruit and erythritol for maple syrup or honey.

Air Fryer Frittata Cooking Time
This is the hardest part of making your air fryer frittata. That is getting the cooking time spot on.
I feel like I lack patience when making a frittata in the air fryer.
I see air fryer frittata recipes that suggest 16 minutes and when I follow these my frittata is not set, and I feel like I have done something wrong.
But I had a few more goes at air fryer frittatas and found that the ideal cooking time is:
This allows for the frittata to be fully cooked and to come out perfect.
- 3 eggs
- ½ Italian sausage
- 4 cherry tomatoes (in half)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Chopped parsley
- Grano Padano cheese (or parmesan)
Preheat the Air Fryer to 360 degrees
Put the cherry tomatoes and sausage in the baking accessory and bake at 360 degrees for 5 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix remaining ingredients together.
Remove the accessory from the Air Fryer and add the egg mixture, making sure it is even.
What is a Frittata?
A frittata is an Italian breakfast dish that&rsquos very similar to an omelette or a quiche. It&rsquos basically a scrambled egg bake that&rsquos made with cream and cheese and any variety of ingredients. For this recipe, we&rsquore going to make a vegetable frittata with fresh broccoli, yellow pepper, cherry tomatoes and green onions. The base of our fritta will be eggs, cream and cheddar cheese.
This Instant Pot frittata recipe uses the pot in pot method, meaning, we put all ingredients in another cooking vessel, which sits inside the Instant Pot. In this case we use a 6 inch round aluminum cake pan. It&rsquos the perfect size to fit inside any 6qt or 8qt Instant Pot.
Using the air fryer made each recipe shine and cleanup a breeze, which I consider a huge bonus.
Also once the food is in the machine, you don't have to worry about it or monitor it much at all.
And to help you decide which air-fryer breakfast to tackle first, here is my final recipe ranking from worst to best:
Despite their popularity, the breakfast potatoes came in last place. I'm not big fan of home fries and prefer hash browns, but for what it's worth, these were good.
But they needed some more pizzazz, which could easily be remedied by adding more seasonings and ingredients like onion, bell pepper, and cheese.
The eggs in a basket came in fourth place, as I wouldn't recommend making it if you have a grate on the bottom of your air fryer.
That said, you can try using parchment paper made specifically for air fryers to avoid the egg seeping through, which I've seen some people suggest online.
And the frittata, French toast, and bacon were all phenomenal and tied for my top three. Each dish's texture, taste, and appearance was just like the recipe promised, if not better.
