Tuna bruschettas

In the last few months, I've been organizing at the pace Namiko is dictating to me. Depending on her meal hours, sleep, boyhood.

And yet, among the bottles and purees, I also prepare them for my mouth.

Today I will show you how quickly I prepared two delicious assortments of bruschettas the other day. A tasty and easy to prepare appetizer, only good for breakfast.

Preparation time for both platters (3 people): 20 minutes.

Fish, both fresh and canned, eaten in the correct quantity (1 & # 8211 2 days a week) and in a healthy and balanced diet, ensure an intake of protein, mineral salts and omega 3 fatty acids.

As for tuna, I recommend it for its proteins rich in essential amino acids, vitamins and phosphorus.

Now, considering that I offer you two assortments of bruschettas, I will go with the preparations in parallel. So let's cook:

1). Sprinkle / spread slices of bread on both sides with a little olive oil. And season with salt and pepper to taste.

2). Then put in the oven for a few minutes (5 & # 8211 10 minutes, depending on the power of your oven, but also the size of the slices of bread).

3). Meanwhile, chop the tomatoes, avocado, mozzarella and basil.

4). You will know that the bread is ready for bruschettas when the slices have browned and become slightly crispy.

5). For extra flavor I rub the toast with a puppy (come on, two & # 8211 three) of garlic.

All you have to do is decorate each slice of bread & # 8230

With tuna in olive oil, avocado and tomatoes cherry

Or with tuna in olive oil, mozzarella and fresh basil

As you can see, I opted for bruschettas "one bite”, But & # 8211 if you prefer & # 8211 you could prepare the same recipe and in a larger size.

Color-changing martinis

When the classic Martini was invented, bartenders could never have known the iterations it would go through. He could have predicted subtle twists involving olive juice and various liqueurs, as these progressions are natural. But Martinis who changes color right in front of your eyes? Probably not.

The Color-Changing Martini was created by Desiree Bacala, a bartender at the Public Belt inside the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel. It changes color from deep purple to a bright pink, which may seem magical, but there is science behind the phenomenon.

The cocktail includes gin, ginger liqueur, b'lure - an extract of butterfly pea flowers - and plain syrup, plus a few drops of freshly squeezed lemon juice. The edible flower infuses the drink with an intense indigo tone which, mixed with an ingredient rich in acid, makes the color change from intense blue to pink or purple. In this case, lemon juice causes this change, but also other acidic ingredients, such as tonic, can also produce the attractive effect.

It's easy to dismiss color-changing martinis and similar drinks as too elaborate or technical to try at home, but don't be intimidated. One of the great things about b'Lure is its accessibility. No high-tech equipment or training hours are required. Squeeze a few drops into your drink, mix with an acid and, like magic, the color will change.

If you really want to impress your friends (or even yourself), you can freeze the citrus fruits in ice cubes. As the lemon cubes melt, they will interact with the butterfly pea flower extract and slowly change color as it soaks up the flavor of the drink.
