Learn how to prepare a delicious recipe for cauliflower, broccoli and cheese that even the little ones will devour. The idea is Jamie Oliver's, but that doesn't mean it can't be prepared by you.

1/4 cup olive oil
2 sprigs of green thyme
2 slices of old bread
1 kg cauliflower
100 g matured cheddar cheese
500 g broccoli
500 ml skim milk
50 g flour
50 g unsalted butter
2 cloves of garlic
25 g almond flakes

Method of preparation:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees, medium heat. Peel and thinly slice the garlic and fry over medium heat in butter. When the butter has melted, add the flour and then gradually the milk, stirring constantly. Add the broccoli bunches to the sauce and simmer for about 20 minutes, until soft. Use a blender and pass the whole mixture. You can add a little milk to have a softer composition. Grate half of the Cheddar cheese and season to taste.

Put the cauliflower in a yena bowl or other deeper baking dish. Pour the thick broccoli and cheese sauce over the bunches. Laugh above the rest of Cheddar.

Grind the bread finely in a blender or food processor, then add the almonds and thyme and drizzle with olive oil, salt, pepper, mix well and pour over the cauliflower, broccoli and cheese.

Bake for about an hour, or until the cauliflower is well cooked with the broccoli sauce and Cheddar cheese.
