Fill a bottle (I put a 1 l bottle of Borsec) with water and place it on a tray in which I previously poured about 4 cups of water. Heat the oven then put the tray with the chicken on the glass. It lasts about 2 hours depending on the chicken and the power of the oven (it may take even less, but I do not recommend cooking it over a high heat because it must have time to penetrate). You must make sure that there is permanent water in the tray. If necessary, add hot water so that the glass does not break.

Instead of glass you can use a taller jar in which you can pour a bait made of water, a little oil, vegeta, thyme, garlic, chopped parsley and a bay leaf.

Melt the butter and mix it with all the spices and herbs, plus the crushed garlic. Grease the chicken well, on all sides, with this mixture.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Empty the beer bottle halfway, then insert it inside the chicken. Put in an oven tray and bake. After 15 minutes, reduce the heat to 170 degrees and leave for another hour.

Remove the chicken and grease it with the barbeque sauce and put it back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes or until it gets a brown crust.

Check if it is cooked by cutting a piece of where the thickest meat is: chest or leg. If you feel the need, leave it in the oven.
