Budinca Abbot of Priscos

Like all Portuguese desserts, this pudding has many eggs. But it's also ffffffff good. When I heard what it contained and how it was made ... I thought it would be a disaster ... but the final test ... it's a real killer. The texture ..taste ... is something of a dream. Worth a try, despite ... the citizens.
The original recipe is made more ... I made half - in a smaller pudding shape.

  • 500 gr sugar
  • 250 ml water
  • 30 yolks
  • 50 gr bacon or smoked homemade ham
  • 50 ml you carry

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Pudding Abbot of Priscos:

Caramelize the pudding shape and set aside

Mix the sugar with the water and the whole bacon. Mix the yolks with the port wine. Remove the ham or bacon and mix the sugar syrup with the eggs with the wine, stirring constantly.

Pour into pudding and in a bowl with water (a tray) put in the oven at 140-160 degrees Celsius (in a bain marie) for about 40 minutes. Remove and place the pudding bowl in the refrigerator. Remove cold on a plate.

I assure you that the taste is worth all the calorie sacrifice ....
