6. Pour oil to a hot pan. Add cumin and allow to crackle.

12. Add Crumbled paneer. Mix and stir well. Cook for just 2 to 3 minutes till the raw smell from paneer goes off. Do not over cook.

Red chilli powder/ pepper powder – ½ tsp

Garam masala powder – ½ tsp

Dhaniya/ coriander seeds powder – 1 tsp

Ginger, finely chopped – 1 tblsp

Coriander leaves, finely chopped – 2 tblsp


  • If you want to add frozen peas, cook it in microwave and add it in the end of step 2. For carrots, just add it after onion and fry along.
  • You can omit lemon juice and add a tomato chopped along with capsicum.
  • I used tri coloured capsicum.
  • You can skip ginger too!

1 Heat oil in a vessel, add chopped onions and green chillis, saute till onions turn transparent. Add turmeric pwd, cumin pwd, coriander pwd, red chilli pwd and kasuri methi and combine. Add the chopped tomato and cook till they turn soft, approx 3-4 mts.
2 Add grated paneer and stir well to combine and cook for 2-3 mts. Add the low fat milk and toss the contents on medium high flame and see that the paneer does not stick to the vessel. The milk should evaporate. Add garam masala pwd and combine.
3 Finally, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rotis or bread.
