Oatmeal with fruit

My favorite breakfast-porridge. Today I made it with apples and pears, powdered with cinnamon-ideal for cold winter mornings.

  • 1/2 cup chopped oatmeal

RECIPE PREPARATION Oatmeal porridge with fruit:

We clean the apple and pear; we cut them into cubes; We choose softer and well ripened fruits.

Put the milk with the fruit and a little orange peel first to boil over low heat to soften the fruit; then add the oats, stirring so that they do not stick to the bottom of the pan. When it starts to thicken, turn off the stove. Pour into a bowl and powder with cinnamon. We eat hot or cold - according to preference.
