RECIPE PREPARATION Pickled onions with rosemary:

Peel an onion and wash it. We also clean, wash and slice the horseradish. Prepare the liquid, according to the instructions on the envelope. In 800g jars, well washed and dried, stuff the onion, being careful not to break but to get as many pieces as possible. Put 2-3 slices of horseradish in each jar, and a sprig of fresh rosemary on top. Pour liquid over and staple.

In winter, we will have a pickled onion with a special flavor, which we serve as pickles, but we can also use it as a decoration for culinary dishes.

Sticks stuffed with sauerkraut and onion. They cook quickly and are very tasty.

Last month I ate for the first time the stuffing stuffed with sauerkraut and onion. Although the combination seemed a little strange, I was surprised to find that it is very tasty. I recommend you try this recipe too.

Dough ingredients:

  • 500 gr of wheat flour
  • 350 ml of warm water
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt, 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 200 gr sauerkraut
  • 2 onions, salt (to taste)
  • 100 ml water
  • Sunflower oil

Method of preparation:

First we prepare the filling. Peel an onion and cut it into small pieces. We also chop the sauerkraut.

Fry the onion in a pan with a little oil. Fry it until it acquires a slightly brown color. Then add the cabbage. Add salt to taste and pour about 100 ml of water. Cover with a lid. Let it simmer for 10 minutes. Then let the cabbage filling cool and prepare the dough.

In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and salt. Add sunflower oil, yogurt and water. Knead a semi-soft dough, which you shape into a ball. Leave the dough aside for 10 minutes.

Cut the dough into 8 equal parts. We spread 2 pieces of dough in the form of two thin circles with a diameter of 20-22 cm.

On one of the two pieces of dough spread add a part of the filling. Cover with the other piece of dough and lightly press the marignas with your fingers. We prepare the other glues in the same way.

Fry the glues in a pan greased with a little oil, over medium heat. Fry the glues on both sides. Cover the pan with a lid.

These sticks are very tasty, and those who love pickled cabbage will definitely be delighted by their delicious taste. Good appetite and increase cooking!

Pork cutlet stuffed with bacon on a bed of onions with rosemary!

A delicious dish that will please the whole family - pork with rosemary and bacon on the bed of onions. You need a minimal set of ingredients and a little patience. Enjoy a wonderful taste and an exceptional aroma.


-1.5 kg of pork (cutlet)

-fresh freshly ground black pepper

-2 tablespoons olive oil

-7 slices of bacon (or ham)

-toothpicks or culinary thread.


2.Cut the onion into rounds and place them in the baking dish, forming the meat bed.

3. Make small incisions with the knife on the surface, sides and bottom of the meat, in which you insert the garlic slices.

4.Mix the salt with black pepper and olive oil, then cover the meat with this mixture.

5. Pour ½ mixture of water and wine in the form of baking, and what is left, mix with the remaining oil with salt and black pepper.

6.Pour the composition into the form as well and place the rosemary sprigs on the onion bed.

Advice. If you want, you can chop the rosemary and add it directly to the piece of meat.

7. Cover the meat with the bacon slices and fix them with toothpicks.

8. Transfer the chop to the onion bed, add a few more rosemary threads and put the tray in the oven for 15 minutes, setting the convection.

Advice. If you have a non-convection oven, you can fry the piece of meat on a hot pan with olive oil until the golden crust forms.

Advice. If you suffocate the meat first, and then set the grill / convection function, then it will burn or dry out. When you put the cold meat in the hot oven, it quickly forms a crust on the surface and remains juicy inside.

9.Then remove the rosemary threads from the surface, lower the temperature to 200 ° С and cook the meat for 1 hour, without convection.

Chickpea meatballs with rosemary

I think you've already noticed that I'm crazy about vegetarian meatballs. I prepare them at least once a week, and almost every time I change something in the recipe and try something new. Although red lentils is by far the preferred basic ingredient for vegetarian meatballs, because it boils quickly, I started using it more and more often and chickpeas. Here can be found at a price more than affordable & ndash

Thus, all I have to do is take the chickpeas out of the can, put them in a bowl, mix them with the other ingredients, form the meatballs and fry them or put them in the oven. The whole process takes 30 minutes, and in the end results in 15+ chickpea meatballs!

This time I used fresh rosemary to flavor these meatballs. I love rosemary, plus it grew like crazy in the pot on the balcony, so I had to do something with it. & # 128578 If you are not a rosemary fan, you can also try sage or fresh thyme.

Pickled onions should have a place of honor in your pantry for the winter. It takes you about 10 minutes to prepare it and it has a taste that you don't forget too easily.

Pickled red onions can be used in many ways. You can put it in sandwiches, in winter salads, next to steaks - it gives a stain to food and a crunchy texture.


  • 1 firm red onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 177 ml vinegar
  • 1 clove of garlic, cut in half
  • 5 black peppercorns
  • 5 juniper berries
  • 3 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 small dry chili

Step 1: put 450-700ml water to boil. Meanwhile, cut the onion into slices. Peel a squash, grate it and cut it in half.

Step 2: dissolve sugar and salt. In the glass jar in which you will put onion, put sugar, salt, vinegar (rice vinegar, white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar) and other spices. Mix well until dissolved.

Step 3: put the chopped onion in a sieve, over the sink and pour boiling water over it. Let it drain well.

Step 4: put the onion in jars and mix well to mix with the other ingredients.

Step 5: Onions will be ready to eat after 30 minutes, but it is good after a few weeks. However, the most intense taste will be in the first week.

Put onions in glass or ceramic containers. Most metals will react with vinegar, and plastic will absorb flavors.

Vlad's meatball

A recipe invented by my son Vlad. It's almost a burger, but it's different.

  • 1200g double chopped beef antricot (antricot, nothing else)
  • 3 green onions
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, not powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons of mustard (Tecuci classic)
  • Mustard with berries
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • Coarse salt, freshly ground pepper

Mix the minced meat well with the thinly sliced ​​onion, rosemary, basil, mustard, salt and pepper to taste.

Make the meatballs with a diameter of 10-12 cm and about 1 cm thick, put them on a napkin to stand for a while.

Heat a pan well and put the meatballs done. Leave it for about 5 minutes on one side, 5 minutes on the other side, depending on how raw you want them and the right thickness.

Cut thin yellow onions, diced. Mix with chopped parsley and a pinch of salt.

When the meatballs come out, place them on a plate, place a generous layer of mustard with berries on top and over the chopped onion with parsley.

It goes well with slices of old polenta on the stove and beer. Gold therapy is perfect but very cold.

black pumpkin (peeled) 300 g

Wash all vegetables. Cut the pumpkin into slices, the tomatoes - in half, the pepper from the seeds, peel the onion and garlic.

Wallpaper a baking sheet with foil and sprinkle with olive oil. Arrange the vegetables, salt and pepper, sprinkle with herbs and sprinkle with olive oil. Bake at 200 ℃ until cooked for 40 minutes.

Remove the vegetables from the oven, cool them slightly. Put the peppers in a bag. Peel the tomatoes and peppers. Transfer the vegetables to a blender and mix until smooth. Season to taste, add lemon juice. Interfere.

This sauce is versatile. It is ideal for all types of pasta.

After cooling, you will discover a dish with unexpectedly good taste!
