Chicken liver

Chicken liver

boil the chicken breast and liver for a few minutes (5-6 minutes), then remove the pieces of meat and grind them in the food processor.

sauté the chopped onion in a little oil, then add it over the meat and mix well in a bowl.

crushed garlic, mixed eggs, rice, salt, pepper and finely chopped greens are added to the bowl where we already have the meat and onion.

form a thick paste that we put in a cake tin and put in the oven (heated to 180 °) for 40 minutes.



Chicken liver

Wash the livers and drain them, then boil them in boiling water with a pinch of salt. Leave them for 10 minutes, then drain them and let them cool. In a bowl, place the slices of bread soaked.

Put the chicken breast through the mincer together with the chopped onion, the boiled liver and the bread soaked and squeezed very well.

Add the sour cream, 3 lightly beaten eggs, salt and pepper. Mix well until the composition is homogeneous.

Coat a cake tin with baking paper, grease it with butter and pour half of the meat and liver composition. Level and place the 3 hard boiled eggs in the middle. Cover with the rest of the composition and level. Put the form in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. It should brown nicely on top.

Allow the dough to cool very well in the form, then turn it over on a plate. Cut it into slices and serve with green onions and radishes…


Chicken Drob Ingredient

  • 500 grams of chicken liver
  • 500 grams of chicken breast
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 6-7 sprigs of green onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 dill bunch
  • 1/2 bunch of parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 30 grams of butter
  • salt and pepper

for the dough crust:

  • 300 grams of flour
  • 70 grams of butter
  • 1 or
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • cold water until a suitable dough is formed

1. Cut the chicken breast into cubes. Heat the olive oil and butter (30 gr) in a large pan. Saute the chicken breast for 5 minutes and remove to a plate.

2. In the remaining fat, sauté the livers, then remove them over the chicken breast. Allow to cool, then pass everything through the mincer.

3. Add the breadcrumbs, 4 beaten eggs, chopped green onions with the leaves, dill and parsley and crushed garlic to the mince. Season with salt and pepper.

4. Peeled and chopped carrots 2 & # 2154-5 cm sticks boil in salted water and mix with the composition until well blended.

5. For the dough, incorporate the butter into the flour with a fork. Add salt, 1 beaten egg and cold water as needed to form a suitable dough. Wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

6. Spread the dough in a sheet on the work surface sprinkled with flour. The dough is lined with a cake form with the dimensions of 37x12x10 cm, laid with baking paper. Put the whole composition of the drob over the dough and press well, leveling. Cut the edges of the dough that fall over the size of the form, knead a little more and make a lid that is pressed over the filling. Decorate the remaining dough. Grease the lid and the decorations with beaten egg and bake the dough in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for 30-35 minutes, until the crust is nicely browned.

Chicken liver. A delicious recipe for the Easter meal

Chicken breast is the perfect choice for the Easter meal, for people who do not like lamb organs. And it is also easy to prepare.

The basic ingredients are hearts, pipettes. According to everyone's taste, it can be added to the liver.

Ingredient:

  • 1 kg of pipettes and chicken hearts
  • 1 kg of liver
  • 4 large chopped onions
  • 2 tied chopped green onions
  • 2 parsley bindings
  • 2 dill ties
  • 3 boiled eggs
  • 5 raw eggs
  • 6 tablespoons oil
  • salt
  • pepper .

Method of preparation:

Boil the pipettes and hearts with a pinch of salt. Let them boil for 30 minutes, but don't forget to always take the foam on top. The entrails are left to cool after boiling.

Put the liver in hot oil to brown. No salt is added because it strengthens the liver. Remove the pieces of liver and in the same oil put the onion to harden (not the green one). This gives the drink a special sweetness and taste. Add a little salt, which prevents the onion from burning. Put the green onion over the hardened onion, which is left to harden a little, until it softens.

After the organs have cooled, cut them into small pieces. Beat the eggs.

Put the organs in a bowl, put the chopped dill and parsley, beaten eggs, hardened onions, pepper, salt and mix well.

In the tray lined with baking paper add a part of the composition, then boiled eggs along the length of the tray, in the middle of the pan and add the rest of the composition.


  • The result, that is, the chicken drumstick, should look like a cake that is crushed with a fork, but not from the cut.
  • If you want an even fluffier consistency, you can add a few pieces of butter over the consistency to put in the oven.
  • The chicken drumstick can get an attractive crust if you grease it with a mixture of two or three beaten raw eggs before placing the tray in the oven.
  • Instead of allspice, you can use marjoram.
  • Hearts and pipettes can be replaced with chicken breast, which is also prepared by boiling.

Suitable gaskets

  • Tzatziki salad (mixture of yogurt, cream, chopped cucumbers, minced garlic, salt and pepper)
  • Cheese and green onions
  • Fresh vegetables.

Chicken liver

This chicken fillet is perfect to replace the lamb one, a dish specific to the Easter holidays, a recipe that I remember step by step and I don't think there is a better one like this.

The grandparents from Transylvania were specialists in preparing lamb goodies and did not think that at Easter, the lamb would be missing from the table, from soup, steak, drob and fresh sheep's milk curd.

The lamb did not always have to weigh 10-11 kilograms to be good to eat. He cut himself on Saturday in the yard and his grandfather was in charge of it, then he cut the pieces of meat and took them to his grandmother who took care of him.

In Transylvania, the drob was an expected specialty and was made from the organs of the lamb plus the meat from the head and from around the ribs of the lamb (from the belly more precisely, the meat from the ribs went to the soup.

But what if we don't eat lamb ?! We make chicken fillet and we can also be prepared for the holidays with traditional dishes.

I can say without false modesty that I have not eaten better than this and it is the recipe that I would never change. Finely chop the liver and meat with a knife, all of which give a touch of elegance to the dish!

Ingredients:

  • 700 g of chicken liver
  • 500 g chicken legs
  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 bunches of green onions
  • 1 bunch of green garlic
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation:

Wallpaper a cake tray with baking paper measuring 10/25 cm.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Peel the onion and garlic, remove the dried leaves and roots, then chop them finely.

Finely chop the onion and fry it in oil with a little salt until the excess liquid evaporates.

Put a pot of water to heat and boil the liver for 5-6 minutes. Let cool.

We take out the pieces of liver out on a kitchen towel to drain well of the excess water.

Cut the liver into cubes of about 1/1 cm.

We cut the chicken breast into cubes of about 1/1 cm.

Chop the chicken legs with a knife as small as possible or put them in a blender and thus we will obtain a pasty composition.

Put all the ingredients in a bowl, season with salt and pepper.

Pour the composition into the cake pan and beat it well to bind and remove any air bubbles. On top we give the wavy shape like a raised cake.

Bake for an hour, then take the tray out and let it cool in the baking tray.

After cooling, we turn the tray over, drain the excess liquid and place it on a plate, then let it cool so that it can be cut more easily. That was for today, from here I can only wish you good luck and good appetite!
