Place in a tart form with a diameter of about 27 cm, then carefully remove the excess from the edge of the form. Refrigerate the dough for 10 minutes. When it has hardened enough, prick it from place to place with a fork, place a baking paper over it, then fill the form with ceramic balls or beans, chickpeas or lentils, so as not to grow too much in the oven. The tray with the banana tart top is placed in the preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for almost 35 minutes.

Preparation of cream for banana cream pie

In general, vanilla cream is everyone's favorite when it comes to fine and tasty desserts. For this tart with bananas and cream we will prepare a simple cream, from sweet milk that is put in a saucepan on the fire together with caster sugar, corn starch, egg yolks and vanilla essence. Mix everything very well and boil the cream until it thickens.

Extinguish the fire and add the butter over the vanilla cream, stirring until it is incorporated into the composition. The cream for banana and cream tart is left to cool until it reaches room temperature.

Assembling the tart with bananas and cream

Just like when you prepare white chocolate and raspberry tart, pear and chocolate tart or different fruit tart recipes, take out the crust on a plate and add the desired filling. Therefore, put slices of banana on the entire surface of the tart, at its base, then put over the fruit vanilla cream previously prepared. Level the composition with a spatula, then cover the banana tart with foil and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight. After it has hardened, beat the cream and put it in a posh, then decorate the tart on its entire surface.

Method of preparation

The banana and cream tart was invented in America, it is an extremely popular dessert and present in all restaurants and bars. The cake has a great taste, so we thought we'd explain to you how to make banana cream pie!


Method of preparation

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (I put cough)
  • 45g butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 500g cow's cheese
  • 80g old
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 3 eggs (I also put the egg white on the counter)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 large ripe bananas

The first time we make the top, mix all the ingredients, knead a little and leave the dough to cool for 30 minutes. We then spread it in a shape of 21 cm (I was only 24), prick it a little with a fork and put it in the oven for 15 minutes at 190 degrees or until it browns a little on the edges.

Crush the bananas and mix them with the rest of the ingredients (I mixed them in a blender). Pour the composition over the counter and bake for about 1 hour at 180 degrees C.

If it browns during baking, you can cover it with aluminum foil. Cool and serve.

My advice is to crush some strawberries in a blender and serve with this topping :). I had some caramel syrup.

The next step is to mix the coconut cream with a mixer. You need to get a cream-like composition. Also now you can add a little natural sweetener and vanilla essence. Leave the composition in the fridge for a few minutes.

After it has cooled, mix the pudding with the coconut cream and pour it over the counter and add a few slices of banana for topping. If necessary, you can add a little more coconut cream.

The tart keeps very well in the cold, but it is recommended to eat it in the first 48 hours.

Ingredients for Nicoleta tart dough with chocolate, cranberries and bananas

  • 320 g white flour
  • 160 g cold butter from the refrigerator
  • 3 yolks
  • 60-70 ml of cold water from the refrigerator
  • A pinch of salt

  • 500 g chocolate with 70% cocoa content, but also the one with low cocoa content, depending on how sweet you like
  • 600 g cooking cream with 32% fat
  • 100 g of cranberries
  • 3-4 bananas, depending on how big they are
  • For decoration 35-400 g chocolate chips, strawberries, cherries, chocolates, biscuits, etc.

How to prepare the dough:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
We separate the eggs, we only need the yolks.

In a bowl we will put the flour, salt and butter cut into small cubes or thin slices. Let cool for at least an hour.

Remove the bowl from the refrigerator and knead the flour with the butter until you get a sandy composition.

Add only 60 ml of cold water, the yolks and quickly knead the dough, we do not have to knead much or heat it. It's enough to be tied. We put it in a bag or foil of freshness and leave it in the fridge for at least an hour.

We take it out of the fridge and spread it on a work surface sprinkled with flour. We spread it in a round shape and put it in a tray with a removable ring with a diameter of 25-26 cm. Using a knife, cut off the excess from the edges.

Remove the beans from the pan and bake for another 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown and crispy.

Take it out on a grill and let it cool completely.

How to prepare the cream:

Put 50 ml of hot water over the cranberries and let them hydrate for half an hour, then drain and wipe with a kitchen towel.

Put the cream for cooking in a saucepan and bring it to the boil, turn off the heat and add the chocolate.

Leave it for 2-3 minutes, then homogenize it lightly with a spatula and pour it into a bowl. We put it aside, but not in the cold, somewhere in the pantry or in a cooler place for 2 hours.

With the help of a food processor we mix the cream for a minute, not too much that it will harden, it must be shiny and easy to handle, ie slightly soft.

Pour half the amount of cream into the tart, add the cranberries and use a spatula to spread the cream evenly.

Peel a banana, grate it and slice the first layer of cream.

Pour the rest of the cream, level nicely and garnish with what we like, I used chocolate chips and sticks, strawberries dipped in chocolate, hazelnuts glazed in white and dark chocolate, m & ampm candies, biscuits. But the imagination remains free will in the decoration of this tart.
