Papanas preparation recipe

Put the cheese in a bowl, eggs, lemon peel, baking soda, vanilla sugar, sugar and mix well.

Add flour + semolina and knead the dough until it sticks to your hand. If necessary, add more flour (depending on the consistency of the cheese). The dough should be soft and non-sticky. Let it rest for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes. balls are formed which we drill in the middle. We form other small balls that will be placed on top of the papanas when we serve them.

Fry the papanas and balls in an oil bath over low heat. Serve with sour cream and cherry jam.
