How do we prepare the recipe for scones with apples and cheese?

The oven is preheated to 200 degrees Celsius.

Peel an apple, grate it and cut it into small cubes. Put in a small non-stick pan, together with brown sugar, mustard and apple cider vinegar. Keep on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the apples become slightly soft.

You should not use excessively small pieces because they will soften both in the pan and during baking in the oven.

Take a large bowl and mix the flour with the baking powder, salt and pepper. The cheese is put on the small grater and the eggs are beaten with a fork. Add over flour and butter, milk, 2 thirds of grated cheese and 3 quarters of eggs.

From these 2 ingredients we will keep a little for the end to put on top. Knead a soft dough and add a little more milk if needed.

We will divide the resulting dough into 2. We will spread each of the 2 pieces of dough directly in the tray lined with baking paper, making a circle about 1 cm high.

We will cut this circle into 6 (like the pizza slices), and we will separate the pieces obtained from each other, because they will grow during the hunt. Grease with the remaining egg and sprinkle the cheese set aside. Do the same with the remaining dough.

Keep in the oven for 17-20 minutes until golden.

Serve hot but after cooling they can be frozen for another time.

I don't miss the cheeses in the fridge, I have to admit that I like them, so I always have 6-7 varieties from which I can prepare quick appetizers or any other dishes that contain them at any time.
Today I decided to surprise you with one of the fastest and tastiest appetizers.

It is a mixture of three Delaco cheeses, crispy walnuts, all seasoned with sage, salt and pepper, presented in spheres covered in crispy and juicy pomegranate beans.
The cheese spheres can be prepared even the day before, stored in the refrigerator wrapped in food foil and can be wrapped in pomegranate seeds shortly before being served.
This type of appetizer can be served with savory biscuits, toast but also slices of apples, pears or other fruit combinations.
I recommend you try it, it is delicious and definitely appreciated by those who will taste it !!

Appetizer with cheese and pomegranate - Ingredients

140 g cream cheese fluffy with sour cream - Delaco
180 g cream cheese with sour cream - Grace
50 g cheddar
100 g chopped walnuts
3-4 fresh sage leaves
30 g butter
salt
pepper
pomegranate seeds
salted biscuits
fruit of choice

Appetizer with cheese and pomegranate - Preparation

Melt the butter in a pan. Add the sage leaves and keep on a moderate heat until the leaves become crispy and the butter turns brown. Remove on a paper towel and allow to cool.

Put the cream cheese in a bowl, add the grated cheddar cheese, chopped walnuts, sage leaves, cooled butter, salt and pepper to taste.
Mix everything with a spoon or a mixer until the composition becomes homogeneous.

It is divided into two parts, placed on cling film and given the shape of a sphere. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes then dress in pomegranate seeds.
They can be served with savory biscuits, toast but also slices of fruit of your choice.


Romanian meshes with cheese

  • 4 eggs
  • 300 ml milk
  • a tablespoon of flour
  • a tablespoon of butter (plus a little butter to grease the bowl)
  • salt, pepper, nutmeg
  • two slices of chicken breast prepared on the grill
  • 80 gr cheese
  • green dill

  1. Put in a bowl, to boil, 2 l of water with a little salt and 3 tablespoons of vinegar.
    Meanwhile, prepare in another bowl Bechamel sauce: Melt a tablespoon of butter, add the flour, mix and cook for 2 minutes. Add the cold milk little by little, stirring constantly so as not to form colossi. fire and set aside the sauce.
  2. The eggs are broken one by one in a bowl and released in boiling water, taking care not to fall on top of each other. Boil for 3 minutes and then remove and place in a heat-resistant dish, greased with butter.
  3. Place strips of chicken breast, pour the sauce in which I previously mixed half of the cheese, grated, sprinkle the remaining cheese and a little green dill, chopped.
  4. Put the dish in the preheated oven until it starts to turn golden.
  5. Serve with tomatoes or salad.

Potato, cheese and walnut pie

Peel the potatoes, put them in a pan with water and a teaspoon of salt, boil them for 10 minutes.

When they are almost ready, drain the water and let them cool a bit. We cut each potato into thin slices, about 5mm thick.

Pour into a heat-resistant dish, greased with butter, a little milk,

place a layer of potatoes as in the picture below and cover with slices of cheese and a few thin slices of butter.

Season with salt, pepper to taste and sprinkle a very thin layer of chopped walnuts.

Repeat the operation until all the ingredients are exhausted, pour the remaining milk on top.

Bake the pie in the preheated oven at 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.

The stuffed walnut recipe is an old and extremely popular one

Cream ingredients: 200 g of the remaining edges after cutting the "shells", 150 g of sugar, 300 g of chopped walnuts, a teaspoon of rum essence, a tablespoon full of cocoa, 200 ml of milk, 2-3 tablespoons of jam (plum)

Method of preparation

Dough preparation. Mix the butter with the sugar until you get a fine cream. Add the eggs one by one to the composition, mix well, then gradually incorporate the flour mixed with the baking powder. Knead the dough, until it becomes homogeneous and it comes off the navy of the bowl, then a large ball of dough is formed. From the dough obtained, mold balls of approximately 5-7 gr. Grease a form inside with a little oil, put the dough balls in it, put the form on the stove, press and leave it on the fire for a few minutes until the shells are well baked on both sides. When ready, the shells will come off the baking tin slightly. The shells will not come out perfect, but you can adjust the edges with a knife and keep the cut pieces to put in the cream.


Preparation of the cream. In a bowl put the chopped baking dough edges, add the ground walnuts, rum essence, cocoa, jam and over them add the hot milk. Mix the ingredients until you get a fine cream.

Fill the shells with cream and stick two by two, wipe off the excess cream from the marinade, then powder with powdered sugar.
