Sweet skewers

Because I saw that she is putting on a pajama party, I also come with something sweet, simple and fast!

RECIPE PREPARATION Sweet skewers:

Bananas and kiwis are cleaned and cut into slices, respectively cubes.

Drain the pineapple juice and cut into pieces. Place the pieces of fruit on the skewer alternately.

The chocolate together with the butter melts in a bain marie, turning continuously.

When it has melted, take it off the heat and pour it with a spoon over each skewer, turning them a few times.

Sweet skewers with blackberries, bananas and blueberries. A healthy snack that appeals to children (and when I say children, I mean me) very quick to make and ideal for parties. It can be made with other fruits such as strawberries and can be served with topping of melted chocolate or whipped cream.


Preparation

Moisturize the wooden skewer sticks in hot water, otherwise there is a risk that they will catch fire on the grill.

Clean the mushrooms of impurities, wash them well and dry them with a paper towel. Cut their tails (they can be used in salads or can be served as a garnish, preparing them in the pan).

For the marinade: mix both the juice and the grated lemon peel with thyme, salt, garlic and pepper. Set aside for 5 minutes so that the flavors blend. Then add the olive oil.

Place the mushrooms tightly glued together on 2 skewer sticks each (the simultaneous use of 2 sticks prevents the mushrooms from rotating on the skewer when you turn them on the grill) and grease them generously with the prepared marinade.

Place the mushroom skewers on the hot grill and brown them on all sides for about 8 minutes. The heat must be moderate so that the mushrooms do not burn from the first seconds and remain impenetrable inside.


Sweet Skewers - Recipes

Ingredient preparation:

  • the chicken breast is divided into cubes with a side of 3-4 cm (20 pieces)
  • cut the onion in half and separate into sheets (12 sheets)
  • the bell pepper is cut into pieces the width of the meat cubes (12 pieces)
  • the tomato is divided into 4 spherical caps
  • 4 metal or wooden skewers
  • peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into pieces along their length

Preparation:

Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper and paprika, add 10 g of oil, then mix the meat cubes well until they are all covered with spices.

Skewers are formed by alternating meat with onions, bell peppers and tomatoes. On each skewer will be placed: 5 cubes of meat, 3 onions, 3 bell peppers and a piece of tomato, separating the chicken pieces with a vegetable or two of your choice. Put in the oven for an hour, over medium heat, resting the ends of the skewers on the edges of a higher tray so that they do not touch the bottom of the tray.

In another tray, prepare the sweet potatoes: season with salt, pepper and dried (or fresh) rosemary, add 10 g of oil and mix to even out the spices. Bake for 25 minutes on medium heat. The potato tray can be placed under the skewer tray in the same oven.

The yogurt sauce is prepared by mixing the yogurt with a little salt, lemon juice and lemon peel (an untreated lemon will be used to be able to use the peel). It is a very tasty, light and aromatic sauce, which will soften the sweetness of the potatoes and will complement them wonderfully.

Measure the amount of oil you use (20 g in total), but you can season the food to taste, taking care of the amount of salt. Even if it is not caloric, salt in large quantities can create health problems.


Skewers, sweet potatoes and parmesan cream

A truly romantic dinner for two requires a touch of effort. It can be served in the city and, indeed, removes the worry of cooking. Instead, it brings with it the disadvantage of the public, but especially it lacks personal touch and empties it of the deep and ancestral meanings of the gesture of offering a loved one or just a pleasure, something to eat.
Undoubtedly, such a meal must have something that takes it out of anonymity, a provocative aroma, one full of symbols and, without a doubt, it cannot be reduced to a dessert. It is neither elegant nor appropriate if the two lovers are 12 years old. It's good not to miss it, but if the only idea that comes to mind is about cream and strawberries, don't count on my blessing.
For the main course, today I offer you a recipe that is easy to make and arrange on a plate, but that will incite, will be appreciated and will give rise to exclamations of pleasant surprise. We will make skewers with the pieces of flavored poultry meat and we will serve them next to slices of sweet potato, nuts and Parmesan cream. If skewers don't seem like a romantic idea to you, think again about the gestures involved in serving them in an unconventional environment. Don't forget to put a small bowl of aromatic water with lemon slices and rose petals on the table!


For flavored skewers you need 500 grams of turkey or chicken breast cut into thin slices up to one cm. Put them in a bowl together with 4 tablespoons of double concentrated tomato paste, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, lemon juice, 3-4 tablespoons of good oil, a pinch of salt and a finely grated red onion.
Leave them to marinate in the fridge for at least an hour.


For the parmesan cream, mix 100 grams of grated parmesan with a tablespoon of white wine. The same wine you will serve at the table. Stir firmly until it becomes a cream.
For the garnish, cut a sweet potato into slices as thin as possible. Dry them well with a clean towel and fry them in hot oil. Another option is to bake them in the oven rolled in a little olive oil, high salt and pepper.


A very good idea is to have a handful of walnut kernels ready, lightly heated in a pan and crushed.


Stick the marinated pieces of meat in short wooden skewers. Fry them in a large pan with a drop of oil until lightly browned on all sides. Place them nicely on the plate, arrange in slices of sweet potatoes, spheres of cream-flavored cream and sprinkle with balsamic vinegar. It's not a fad. Its sour-sweet taste unites and rounds out the aromas. Sprinkle with walnut kernels.


You choose your own music, you light candles in old candlesticks, you perfume the atmosphere, you prepare the wine at the ideal temperature. The end of dinner moves you on the couch among pillows and stories, and the night envelops you alone, away from the world from which all lovers run away.

500 g of poultry meat - chicken or turkey breast or leg
1 yellow bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 zucchini or 1 zucchini

a teaspoon of paprika, rosemary, garlic powder, salt, white pepper, oregano

Cut the poultry into cubes, put it in a bowl. Mix all the spices in a bowl. Mix the milk with half of the spices with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and pour the mixture over the poultry. Put the meat aside.

Wash and clean the vegetables. If you want to put potatoes on the skewer, boil them first, take them out when they are half cooked and let them drain on a paper napkin. Cut vegetables into cubes, including boiled potatoes. Put them in a bowl. Mix the cream cheese with the olive oil and the rest of the spices and put the mixture over the vegetables, stirring gently, until all the vegetables are covered by the cream.

Place one piece of meat and one piece of vegetables on the skewer, one at a time. Place the skewers on the oven grill, and place the oven grill on an oven tray. Place the skewers in the preheated oven at 230 degrees Celsius for 40-50 minutes, until the meat is penetrated.

If your little one refuses to eat the whole meat, you can chop it and put it in the form of meatballs on the skewer.


Vegetable and pork skewers

  • For the beginning I took a piece of pork, the boneless leg I had, and I cut slices about 1 centimeter thick, and then I cut with a knife cubes from each slice again about 1 centimeter.

To make the meat tender and tasty, I left the meat cubes to marinate in the squeezed juice from a lemon, together with the spices. For the marinade I used fresh dried basil, marjoram, lots of chilli, white pepper and salt.

I chose zucchini, capsicum, Champignon mushrooms and Champignon mushrooms for my skewers and you couldn't miss the onions.

I used corn oil. I placed the skewers in the tray and I sprinkled a pinch of salt and another of spices on them.


I cut the chicken breast into cubes (together with Andrei). I prepared in a bowl a mix of spices (onion powder, turmeric, paprika and olive oil) and I put the breast cubes. I greased them well and then cut the vegetables.

I made the skewers together with Andrei and I put them for 25 minutes at 180 gr.

I remember that my mother often made us chicken skewers, the taste of cooked onions stayed in my mind. Now I haven't eaten meat for a long time and I couldn't make chicken skewers, but I made the same recipe with shrimp. It was a good day!

The sweet potatoes were a nice touch in the skewer. After eating them, each his own, I realized that a leurda pesto would have gone on them. Now that leurda has appeared, we can do it. Sweet potato noodles with pork skewers

Sweet potatoes noodles are very much to my family's liking. Their consistency I think conquered them, I can't say that they have a specific taste, the texture is similar to rice noodles, but they still differ, they are a little more al dente. Very versatile and for cooking, they can be used for soups, salads, side dishes, I could probably find a use for dessert.

Ingredient:
100 g of sweet potato noodles
100 gr pork, cut into strips and marinated in 2 tablespoons soy, granulated garlic, 1 teaspoon honey
1 medium carrot, cut into sticks
50 gr corn
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

Method of preparation:
Boil the noodles in salted water (add when it boils), then strain them and rinse with cold water.
Put the pork on the skewer sticks and cook over the fire on the stove.
Keep the carrots in the microwave for 30 seconds, then add the corn for another 30 seconds.
Mix all the ingredients and season with soy sauce, balsamic vinegar and sesame oil.
Optionally, hot pepper flakes can be added.
