TAHINA RECIPE

Toast the sesame seeds for about 5 minutes in a non-stick pan. Stir the sesame seeds often, so as to toast them on all sides and prevent them from burning.

Originally from the Middle East, this one sauce it is prepared with sesame seeds and is perfect as a course for aperitifs and snacks. In fact, it is tasty to dip croutons and raw vegetables in tahini that will be enhanced by the unique flavor of this recipe.

Preparation

This sauce is easy to put together, delicious, and a lot nutritious. Tahini is the puree of seeds sesame raw, while the tahini is the actual sauce.

To prepare it you have to toast the sesame seeds in cooking pan: the ideal is to place them when the bottom of the pan is already hot but keep moving the pan so that they don't stick. Cook for a few minutes over low heat. When they are toasted, move them to a mixer where you will also add a tablespoon of sesame seed oil and a pinch of salt. Some recipes call for the addition of a clove of garlic but it's up to you to decide whether to add it or not. If after the first few turns in the blender the sauce is not yet compact, you can add a little more sesame seed oil or a few drops of lemon juice. And voila, the tahina ready!

After preparing it, serve it as a simple one starter with toast and olives, as a sauce with i falafel or as a component of a larger aperitif where carrots, celery and others should not be missing vegetables raw to dip into your special tahina.

sere, ma come non sai cosa farne! prova una di queste salsine qua sopra prima di tutto, o anche semplicemente sciolta con un pochino di aceto di mele, anche dolce la puoi fare la salsina, con miele o malto, e poi fai l'hummus di ceci. e poi non mi viene in mente nient'altro :-) baci
