You Can Now Order a Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie at Pizza Hut

The charity promotion will only run on July 16, but you can get your chocolate chip cookie fix anytime after that too!

Pizza Hut is offering you the chance to experience their new Hershey’s ultimate chocolate chip cookie, and donate money to fight world hunger while you’re at it. Pizza Hut will be introducing the new gigantic 8-inch cookie made with Hershey’s Chocolate this week, and to sweeten the deal, on July 16 the pizza chain will donate 10 percent of all cookie order profits to the World Food Programme. Hershey has also announced that they will match the donations up to $50,000. It’s what Pizza Hut is calling “the Ultimate Bake Sale.”

We’re not really sure what the “ultimate chocolate chip cookie” is, but we are guessing that is has something to do with the fact that each cookie imitates a personal pizza, and is divided into eight slices. We do know that there will be an average of 165 chips in each cookie.

“Hershey makes some of the world’s most delicious treats and our Pizza Hut chefs are ecstatic to use iconic Hershey products on our dessert menu,” said Carrie Walsh, Chief Marketing Officer, Pizza Hut. “Our fans are in for an amazing and great-tasting experience.”

Giant Chewy Chocolate Cookie

It’s pizza night. Do you have pizza nights in your house? Truth be told, pizza night is my way of being lazy with menu planning. Along with taco night and spaghetti night. Yeah, we have pizza, tacos, and spaghetti like…every week. I do try to change it up a bit though.

On pizza nights, sometimes we make this quick and easy pizza recipe from scratch and sometimes we order from a local pizza shop.

Either way, whenever we have pizza it is a law that we MUST MUST MUST have a dessert pizza aka a giant cookie to go with it!! I actually prefer making one giant cookie over a bunch of small ones! It’s quick, easy and I don’t have to worry about making several batches. Just mix it all up and press it into a pizza pan. Done!

And who doesn’t like a giant cookie. My boys absolutely love them! Slice it up like pizza and top with ice cream for a delicious dessert.

Today I’m making this chewy, super chocolatey chocolate cookie! It’s like a chocolate flavored chocolate chip cookies with a hint of brownie vibes. This giant chocolate cookie is so soft and chewy! If you’re really feeling naughty top it with caramel syrup or vanilla, strawberry or chocolate ice cream….or all three if ya feeling adventurous! I’m game!

Be careful not to overbake this monster. It really doesn’t take much time at all. 7-8 minutes top and maybe not even that long so check it at the 5-minute mark. The key to getting this cookie super chewy is to take it out of the oven before it’s done and let it continue cooking while cooling off in the pan.

There are so many ways to tweak this chocolate cookie. Throw in some nuts, add some colorful M&M, use peanut butter chips or drizzle in white chocolate. The sky is the limit so have some fun here.

I prefer it loaded with CHOCOLATE! The more the better! I’m using a mix of dark chocolate and semi-sweet. All that chocolate is the perfect canvas for a huge dollop of vanilla ice cream!

Let’s make this giant birthday cookie!

  • butter
  • sugar
  • brown sugar
  • vanilla
  • eggs
  • flour
  • salt
  • baking soda
  • chocolate chips

You Can Now Order a Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie at Pizza Hut - Recipes

For some stores, the secret menu is so famous that it’s hardly a secret.

Pizza Hut is one of the largest franchises in the world, and arguably, one of the best tasting ones.

Pizza Hut has a gargantuan selection of menu items already.

However, its secret menu contains some of the best surprises and is one of the most underrated secret menus of all time.

This is why we’ve gone deep into our investigation to uncover all the secret menu options from Pizza Hut so that you can try something new with a taste that you already enjoy!

BTW, you can take a survey on www tellpizzahut com for a bonus. Check here.

1. Heart-Shaped Pizza

Many pizza shops offer heart-shaped pizza on Valentine’s day, so it’s nothing new.

However, little did people know that since Pizza Hut pizzas are made-to-order, you can order heart-shaped pizzas year-round.

Many people have ordered heart-shaped pizzas other days of the year and had success stories to tell.

When we called some Pizza Hut locations in the U.S., some have said that they have been making heart-shaped pizzas year-round for more than a decade.

You should be able to choose any topping you like for this adorable pizza, and some customers even reported success in ordering a heart-shaped pizza with stuffed crust.

As an added bonus, it is likely that you can ask the employees at your Pizza Hut location to make the dough into almost any shape (within reason).

Just snap a picture of the shape you want and send it along with your order! Make this a surprise for your next gathering.

2. Hotdog Stuffed Crust

Before you started reading this article, you probably thought that the mozzarella-stuffed crust was the best thing about Pizza Hut, or about pizzas in existence.

Of course, this was before you knew that Pizza Hut also offered crusts stuffed with hotdogs.

If, by some miracle, you’ve heard of hotdog-stuffed crust from another pizza chain, then you should rest assured that Pizza Hut was the first franchise to come up with this idea.

This for those of us who’ve ordered meat lovers and thought, why can’t there be more meat?

For the rest of you though, this can be a perfectly harmless prank after you tell your friends you ordered “stuffed crust”.

Be wary that not all stores carry the ingredients for the hotdog stuffed crust all the time, so be sure to ask ahead if you plan to eat this monstrosity.

3. S’mores Pizza

Pizza Hut already offers some very delicious desserts: the giant Hershey’s chocolate chip cookie and the dessert brownie can truly satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth.

But what if it can be better?

Pizza Hut’s S’mores pizza tops the giant chocolate chip cookie with toasted marshmallows, gooey chocolate, and graham cracker crumbs for that extra special summer camping feel that you can now get anywhere.

The best thing about this dessert, and why it’s called a pizza, is that it comes uncut. This way, you can truly cut and eat this like a pizza.

If you remember dessert pizzas from Pizza Hut’s buffets in the past, then you know what I’m talking about.

Be wary though that most locations only offer this delicious dessert in the summer.

If you are craving something extra special in the winter months, you can try asking for the chocolate chip cookie, the brownie, and a side of icing (that normally comes with cinnamon sticks) and make your own extra-sweet dessert cake.

4. Bacon-stuffed Crust

You already know the mozzarella stuffed crust, you’ve just seen the hotdog stuffed crust.

There is yet another stuffed crust that will bring any meat-loving pizza eater to his or her knees, and that is – cue heavenly choir music – bacon-stuffed crust.

This pizza stuffs the crust with cheese, and with bacon. Just hearing this should make you weak in the knees.

I’ve left this item for last because, once you know you can get this, there is never any reason not to get the bacon-stuffed crust.

Think, can there ever be a bad combination with bacon stuffed crust? Truly, only order this magnificent pizza for yourself or the person you will marry, it’s that special.

As an added bonus, did you know that you can ask the Pizza Hut staff to make the stuffed crust with any topping?

You can ask for italian sausage, jalapeno peppers, or even, god forbid, spinach.

Pizza Hut Jumps On 1997 Bandwagon With A “New” Cookie Pizza

You look familiar. (Pizza Hut handout)

The pizza chain has announced a “new” menu offering, a cookie pizza. Which yes, is a giant chocolate chip cookie, sliced like a pizza.

Debuting as the Ultimate Hershey’s Chocolate Chip Cookie but known by company insiders as a pizza cookie, the giant cookie is the result of a partnership with Hershey Co. and will sell for $4.99 a pop with a pizza or $5.99 if you buy it on its own.

No one at Pizza Hut has apparently ever baked cookies, from the sound of it, thus creating quite the stir.

“Pizza Hut chefs are ecstatic,” Pizza Hut’s chief marketing officer, Carrie Walsh, tells the Chicago Tribune. “Our fans are in for an amazing, and great-tasting, experience.”

The pizza cookie will officially debut on July 16 during an event at all 6,300 U.S. Pizza Hut chains, with 10% of each cookie sale going to the World Food Programme.

You can now get GIANT chocolate chip cookies in Toronto

Le Gourmand is home to some of Toronto’s best chocolate chip cookies.

Baked throughout the day and served warm featuring molten chocolate embedded into just-barely baked dough, these cookies are classic and so crave-worthy that they’ll cause even the occasional cookie aficionado can hulk out into a total cookie monster.

The original cookies are bigger than average already, but now you can get a GIANT version too.

Originally commissioned as a birthday present for the founder of Toronto’s Chocolate Chip Cookie-Off Sol Orwell, the giant baked good is now for sale to the public.

Orwell hosts the annual competition and convinced Le Gourmand owner Milton Nunes to sell the giant versions with the caveat that the new off-menu item was named after himself.

I’ve always wanted a food item on a menu named after me, and what would be more me than a gigantic ridiculous 6000+ calorie chocolate chip cookie… my relentlessness paid off, and the man agreed to put it on sale. He’s already had a few people order the beast they all loved it.

The Sol Orwell Cookie, priced at $22 weighs in at 1.5 Kg and is the equivalent to ten to 12 regular sized cookies. A smaller version, equalling six to eight cookies can also be purchased for $15.

Just don’t expect to find the giant cookies cooling on the baking racks in the window – they can (and should) be ordered in advance.

For a chance to vote on Toronto’s best cookie for yourself, you’ll have to wait for the next Cookie-Off happening July, 8 2018, which aims to raise funds to be divided among a number of local charities.
