Doughnuts

I think it's the most popular dessert. Certainly each of you has tried them, because they are spicy and tasty, with all kinds of jams, chocolate next to it. I used a kg of flour because there are many children who can barely put a spoonful of finetti on the donut and enjoy it with great pleasure. Out of a kg of flour came 45 pieces suitable in size

  • 1 kg. of flour
  • 1 cube of fresh yeast
  • lemon zest
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 3 yolks
  • 700 ml of milk
  • 500 ml oil
  • 100 gr sugar
  • powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation time: less than 120 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Donuts:

Put the flour in a bowl, make a nest in it, put a little warm milk, sugar, salt powder and yeast. Homogenize (make a mayonnaise) and let it rise for 10 minutes in a warm place, then add the lemon zest, vanilla sugar and yolks. Knead well. Let it grow well. After it has risen, roll out the dough and cut the donuts with a stainless steel circle or a glass. Let them rise for another 10 minutes, so cut, then fry them in the oil already heated well. We turn them on both sides, take them out on a tray on which we put absorbent paper (for the excess oil) then powder them with powdered sugar or, if preferred, serve them with jam or chocolate cream.
