The fried ice cream it's a Chinese dessert, it's a crunchy batter that wraps a scoop of cold ice cream. In Chinese restaurants this dessert is present on all menus and at the end of the meal it is almost mandatory to order it, in the vanilla or chocolate variant. Obviously you can follow the recipe and add the flavor you prefer, the batter will remain unchanged. How to make fried ice cream
Shape into balls of ice cream and arrange them, far from each other, on a cutting board.
Put them in the freezer to cool for at least 4 hours.
Prepare the batter by combining the egg, flour, starch, cold water and icing sugar.
Once you get a homogeneous mixture, put it in the fridge for 1 hour.
Then take back the scoops of ice cream, dip them in the batter and arrange them again on the cutting board.
Transfer them to the freezer for another 4 hours.
Fry them a little at a time now in a saucepan with boiling oil.
Lifting them pass them on absorbent paper.
Your fried ice cream, serve it immediately.
