The recipe to prepare the geleè candies at home has always intrigued me and it has been on the to do list for a lifetime, with the arrival of the Befana I thought of preparing some sweets at home to make this party even more special. I honestly didn't expect the candies to be so easy to make and so good, wow! I made them with citrus fruits because they are my favorite jellies, you can replace orange juice with any fruit and you will eat a product without dyes or preservatives, your children will love them, guaranteed. Well friends, I greet you and get back to work, on lunch break I have to prepare the birthday cake for my grandfather who turns 87 today, so I fly!
How to make Geleè candies
Put the isinglass in a bowl with water to soften it
Meanwhile, put the citrus juice and sugar in a saucepan
Bring to a boil and continue cooking for a couple of minutes, then turn off the heat and add the squeezed gelatin
Stir vigorously until the gelatin dissolves completely
Pour the mixture into silicone cups and refrigerate to rest for at least 12 hours
Then remove the Geleè candies from the mold and roll them in granulated sugar, then serve
The candies are kept in glass jars with hermetic closure.
