I found this yogurt dessert recipe on one of my cookbooks and I was intrigued by the fact that the recipe had no yeast or butter in the ingredients, so I decided to try them. The dough is very good, but I think 30 gr of melted butter in the dough would have made them softer, if you try them let me know what you think and what changes you have made;)
How to Make Yogurt Treats
Procedure for preparing yogurt sweets
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and knead for a long time until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add the yogurt and the grated lemon rind, finally stir in the sifted flour.
Knead the dough until it becomes smooth and homogeneous.
Grease and sprinkle the muffin molds with flour and fill them with the mixture to half of their height.
Bake the yoghurt cakes in a preheated oven at 200 ° C and cook for about 15 minutes.
Let the yoghurt treats cool then sprinkle them with icing sugar and serve.
