The other afternoon I wanted to prepare a different plum cake than usual, I didn't want the classic cake dough with pieces of fruit inside, but something more delicious. So I decided to make a base of classic dough by setting the plums inside and covering it all with an almond crumble, it was so loved that I made the cake for 2 consecutive days. How to make plum crumble cake
Pitted the plums and noodles into 4 parts.
Then pass them in a pan with butter and brown sugar. Cook for about 5-8 minutes, then turn off the heat and set aside.
Put the cold butter from the fridge, sugar and flour in a bowl.
Work with your fingertips until you get a crumbly mixture.
Transfer to a bowl and add the sliced almonds.
Now work the butter with the sugar until you get a cream, then add the egg and vanilla essence.
Add the flour and baking powder.
Work the dough until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Roll out the mixture obtained in a greased and floured baking pan.
Cover with the plums.
Then cover everything with the crumble. Bake the cake in a preheated convection oven at 180 ° C and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let it cool.
Now serve the plum crumble cake.
