Semi-wholemeal sandwiches recipe of 13-07-2014 [Updated on 27-07-2018]
When I was in Berlin, I was fascinated by the variety of bread present in the bakeries in this city, in particular, I was struck by the semi wholemeal rolls covered with pumpkin seeds, which looked delicious. A few days ago, having leftovers of different types of flours, I tried my hand at preparing these sandwiches and the result was really excellent: semi-wholemeal, soft and fragrant sandwiches that we ate at lunch in the office and received the approval of all ;-)
So if this Sunday you want to prepare bread at home, perhaps with a different recipe than usual, I recommend these semi wholemeal sandwiches ... try them and let me know! Today last day of vacation, the weather is not the best so we dedicate ourselves to buying the last souvenirs and taking a walk, I greet you and we will read tomorrow.
How to make seminegrali sandwiches
Put the yeast, malt, sugar and water in a bowl and mix
Now add the flours
Knead a few minutes then add the butter and salt
Knead for a long time until you get a soft and homogeneous dough then cover with a cloth and let it rise for 2 hours
Take the dough and divide it into 6 pieces
Make sandwiches and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush with a little milk or water and cover with pumpkin seeds then let them rise for another 40 minutes.
Bake the semi-wholemeal sandwiches in a preheated oven at 200 ° and cook for 15/20 minutes
Remove from the oven, wait a few minutes and then enjoy your homemade semi wholemeal bread
