Lentils and spinach they are the perfect combination of a nutritious and tasty dish! For the realization of this recipe I combined business with pleasure, I needed to eat foods rich in iron and I combined two that are very famous on this front. I don't know how many of you are in the habit of combining legumes with vegetables, I admit I'm not very good at this but with lentils and spinach I knew I was on the safe side because it is a classic combination. But enough chat, I'll leave you to the recipe and enjoy your meal!
How to make lentils and spinach
Put the lentils in a bowl, cover them with water and leave them to soak for about 1 hour.
In a large pan heat the oil and fry the chopped carrots, celery and onion.
Then add the drained lentils.
Let them flavor by stirring and then continue cooking, for about 20 minutes, covering them with the broth.
Then clean the spinach, add them to the pan and cook for about 10 minutes.
Season with salt and add pepper.
Your lentil and spinach soup is ready to be brought to the table.
