Lentil Hamburger Recipe of 07-01-2016 [Updated on 12-06-2017]
Lentil burgers are good, light and tasty and also suitable for vegans and intolerant to gluten or even cereals, because they do not contain animal derivatives or starchy foods of any kind. After the chickpea burgers I couldn't help but try the lentil ones too, which, to be honest, I liked even more than the others. After these parties and the small snags that we allowed ourselves, I had to start with something healthier, and I am committed to giving you some healthy and delicious ideas in the next few days, interspersing everything with sweets and delicacies so as to please everyone. That's all for today, I leave you to these veggie burgers and have a good day, docks :)
How to make lentil burgers
Wash and clean the vegetables, then blend them all together with a mixer.
Also rinse the lentils.
Heat some oil in a pan, then add the vegetable mix in a pan.
Also add the drained lentils.
Cook for 1 minute, then cover with water.
Bring to cooking, cooking over medium heat for about 30 minutes. The water will have to evaporate completely. (Check that the lentils are well cooked, otherwise add some hot water and cook for another 10-15 minutes or until cooked.)
Blend the lentils coarsely with the blender.
Then shape your burgers with an 8 cm pastry cutter.
Cook in a non-stick pan with a drizzle of oil for 5-10 minutes or until the desired golden color is obtained.
