How to make the Christmas log
It is a typical dessert of the French tradition, then exported all over the world, which is prepared with rolls of Genoese pasta or sponge cake, stuffed with custard, preferably with chocolate, as I did, assembled in such a way as to look like a log of wood, one of those crackling ones that heat up so much in the coldest evenings.
This Christmas log, then covered with whipped cream and chocolate, will recall the appearance and colors of the firewood, thus recreating a splendid Christmas atmosphere on the table.
